Great! I'm in... before we all start blogging, please observe some house rulez can? Blog must blog properly ok? Dun anyhow use singlish hor. Its bery difficult for other people to understand leh. What if you write in exam all the wrong thing? I know fun lah but must be considerate to others mah... remember the world is not just about ourselves k?
Alright alright, seriously speaking, I really hope we will try our best to continually improve in our command of languages. We can discuss about many things under the sun but if nobody understands us, then slowly we will be left out of the society. Please make it a goal that in the 4 years in secondary school, all of us will desire to improve in our command of english or even mother tongue. A good command of language is proven to help a lot in being proficient for all of the other subjects. I struggled to do well in english all throughout my education and I have personally never achieved an A for english except in PSLE. Nevertheless, I continually try to improve on my vocabulary by reading more and finding out the meaning of new words. I also make it a point to practise grammar rules that I have learnt over the years. Looking back, even though I am not of journalist standards now, I have benefitted much from all the hard work back then. I am able to appreciate books and movies more and I seem to be able to understand new concepts faster than when I was younger. ok ok, enough of my "boasting"... Hope to hear your stories from now on... I'll try to blog at least once every two weeks or more. Please don't bug me if I am too busy to blog alright?
And please, no personal attacks on this blog. Do tell me personally if any of you have something to get off your chest... Have a good rest in the meantime... Those who need to work hard this holidays, please do so... :0)
